Darlene Sibbeston, Job Coach

Raised in the Dehcho, Darlene was educated until grade 10 and continued her Grade 11 and 12 in Yellowknife. From there she took a year off of school and returned a year later to take the Management Studies program with Arctic College, graduating in 1993. She is the parent of one child, Daniel Kaine Scott, born 1994.

Her work experience includes 18+ years of administration work, most recently working as a Client Service Officer with the Department of Education, Culture & Employment. Prior to this she was employed by the Village of Fort Simpson as the Assistant Senior Administrative Officer which she held for two years.

Darlene loves the outdoors and enjoys being outside either biking, running or walking the community in the summer. She stays busy in the winter by snowshoeing and occasionally playing woman’s hockey. Her volunteer work with the Catholic Church keeps her very busy as they are fundraising to build a new Church.
